Lost a Book? Visiting the library            How many books
Students will receive a courtesy email every month reporting what they have checked out.   While there is no fine for overdue books, materials overdue by 30 days or more are assumed lost and a replacement fee will be assessed.   If a book is lost or damaged it must be paid for.  Payment may be in the form of a check made out to PHS, or with exact cash.  Send the payment to school marked Attention Library.  Students who owe money to the library will not receive their final report card.   Students may visit the library in the morning before school and during their lunch shift to check out materials, get started on homework assignments, study for tests, conduct research, draw, read or relax with friends.  The library will be closed during state testing or days that the library is scheduled for other activities.  Students may borrow two books per check out.  Teachers may borrow as many items they wish to be responsible for.  Library materials are due back in two weeks from the original check out day.  Materials may be renewed by coming to the library or emailing holliedurgapersad@ipsb.education.
